Predicted Body Weight (Lean, Estimated, Ideal) and Tidal Volume Reference - Waterproof Glossy PVC Quick Reference Card
 
Description & Use Case:
We created this quick reference card for flight clinicians, emergency and critical care nurses and physicians, and respiratory therapists who give medications or setup mechanical ventilation based on predicted (ideal, or estimated) body weight. The reference has height in feet and inches, total inches, and centimeters. The estimated body weight and tidal volumes based on 4, 6, and 8 ml/kg are then provided. The chart is designed to be simple and easy to read with clean graphics, banded rows, and color highlights of key predicted body weights (by 10 kg). Pediatric predicted body weights are given separately by age and color-coded to be compatible with other pediatric weight-prediction and dosing systems.
 
Size/Material/Functionality:
This listing is for a top of the line physical PVC quick reference card that is 30 mils (0.76 mm) thick. It is heavy-duty, glossy, and waterproof but not heavy. The small cards measure 2.75 x 3.94 inch (70 x 100 mm). The large cards are 3.54 x 5.12 inches (90 x 130 mm). There is a rectangular/oval hole at the top (vertically) which accommodates a lanyard, ID badge clip, or binder ring for easy access or storage. The small version is great for carrying on your ID badge reel. The larger version is perfect for keeping in a bag or binder as reference material, or attaching directly to your IV pumps, ventilator, crash cart, or bag.
